Abu Dhabi Police chooses AEDMAP

AEDs installed in Malls in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain and Ras al Khaimah are now mapped and monitored by the Abu Dhabi Police ambulance dispatch center. This new service is another move from Abu Dhabi Ministry of Interior toward improving Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) survival in the UAE.

Abu Dhabi Police Defibrillators Map

Thanks to AEDMAP monitoring solution Abu Dhabi Police will be able to track AED status within the UAE. Mapping will enable to send bystanders get the closest AED before the ambulance arrives on the emergency location. Use of bystanders to start CPR and use an AED to give a shock, increases SCA survival rate.

AED locations are available to the general public within STAYING ALIVE smart app. STAYING ALIVE is a free app developed by AEDMAP available in 13 languages including Arabic which maps AEDs all over the world.

STAYING ALIVE is available on iOS and Android.
