Paul DARDEL, AEDMAP’s founder & CEO will speak at the European MedTech Forum, Brussels.
He will participate in a plenary session with Elena BONFIGLIOLI (Microsoft), Erik COTMAN (PwC) and Arnaud DELHAYE (Medtronic).
Technology-enabled healthcare: setting the scene
Technology is rapidly transforming society and it’s hard to keep up. Companies such as AirBnB and Tesla are transforming industries and we’re also seeing disruptors entering the medtech space.
Wearables, Apps, Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Devices, Gaming and many other concepts are all gaining traction in the healthcare arena.
The session will start with a current state of play and how the medtech industry is currently coping with the fast pace of change. Several players that are currently disrupting the industry in various shapes and forms will then join the discussion.
Paul is the CEO of AEDMAP, which he founded 3 years ago.
AEDMAP provides automated defibrillators mapping and monitoring solutions in several countries. Paul also works as a medical advisor for the Telco industry.
Paul has more than 15 years’ experience in the eHealth sector. Prior to founding AEDMAP, Paul served as VP sales and marketing at VIDAL Group (drug database) and more recently founded Iguzkirat, an eHealth consulting firm. He is a qualified Medical Doctor in both emergency medicine & virology and also holds an MBA from the Paris HEC School of Management.
